Mainly dry today, but Monday & Tuesday look wet

We are starting out with some low clouds and fog in places.  Otherwise today will be mostly dry with some sunbreaks at times.  Highs will hit the upper 50s to low 60s.

A soggy front is lurking off the coast waiting to move in late today and tonight.  By sundown some showers will have moved into western Washington.

Monday and Tuesday are looking showery and a bit breezy at times.  Highs will stay in the upper 50s to low 60s. A few leftover showers will still be around early Wednesday, but we will go dry by the afternoon.

Right now Thursday and Friday look like our next dry break.

Cooler today, but rain & wind return on Monday

Heavy rain moved through western Washington early this morning.  We are now behind the main front, but we will still get some showers at times today and breezy conditions.  The unstable pool of air behind the front will bring a few sunbreaks and the chance of a thundershower over the Cascades today.  High for most areas will only reach the mid 60s.

Another front is due in on Monday.  Plan on more steady rain and gusty winds for the start of the work week.  Highs will only hit the low 60s in some spots.

Showers will linger into Tuesday before we get a break on Wednesday.  Right now the forecast models are calling for a return of showers on Thursday.

Wet on Sunday, but sun returns for Monday-Wednesday

Very soggy skies this morning across western Washington.  We will see the showers taper off this afternoon.  You could even get a sunbreak or two at your house.  Highs today will hit the mid 60s.

Monday starts another dry trend for at least a few days.  Plan on low clouds and fog for the morning commute with some nice afternoon sunshine.  Highs will hit the upper 60s and low 70s.

Tuesday and Wednesday we go mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s.

Thursday and Friday will bring a return of the showers.

Hot on Sunday, but much cooler later in the week

Hot on Sunday, but much cooler later in the week

More sunshine on the way today with high back in the mid to upper 80s in our warmest spots.  Some areas will even hit 90 degrees.

We keep the hot and sunny weather around for Monday.  Temps will fall back a few degrees.

The high pressure that has been giving us all these high temperatures will start breaking down Monday night.  By early Tuesday morning a stronger onshore flow will bring some low clouds and fog for the commute.

For Tuesday and Wednesday we still get some sunshine in the afternoon after the low clouds burn away.  Highs will be quite a bit cooler.

We will stay dry, but by the end of the week will only be in the upper 60s.

Sunday, Labor Day looking sunny, getting warmer

Lots more sunshine today with high climbing to the mid 80s in our warmest spots along the Cascades and in the south Sound.  We do have very dry conditions across western Washington and because of some breezy winds expected off the Cascades we have a RED FLAG WARNING up for western slopes and east of the Olympics.  The fire dangers will say high for the rest of the week.

Your Labor Day holiday is looking sunny and warm as well.  We will have a few areas of morning low clouds along the coast, but that's about it.

The rest of the week is looking dry too as high pressure strengthens later in the week.  By Wednesday and Thursday some areas will hit the upper 80s.

A decent Sunday but a cooler week ahead

Mostly sunny skies today after the areas of fog burn off this morning.  Highs today will hit the upper 70s and low 80s in most spots.  The coast will only hit the low 70s thanks to a thicker marine layer hanging around into the early afternoon.

Monday we get a stronger onshore flow from the Pacific.  That will cool us down a few degrees and give us some thicker morning fog.  We will still go mostly sunny for most of Monday.

Tuesday a shower chance returns to western Washington, but they will be light and scattered.  Highs will drop to the upper 60s to low 70s.

A few sprinkles will linger into Wednesday before we dry up on Thursday.

Heading into the weekend we are back to partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid 70s.

More sunshine today, showers possible starting Monday

More sunshine on the way today, but it will be filtered at times.  We have some high clouds moving through ahead of a system lurking off the coast.  Plan on highs dropping back a few degrees to the upper 70s to low 80s.

Clouds will increase overnight as we get ready for a chance of showers on Monday.  We will start to workweek mostly cloudy with a sprinkle or two showing up by the end of the day.  The greatest chance of a late day showers is out on the coast and in the north Sound.  Highs on monday will make it to the low to mid 70s.

We will stay mostly cloudy and sometimes soggy through Tuesday.  Highs pressure will build back in on Wednesday bringing sunshine into the weekend.
